God's mercies are new every morning

Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.  They are new every morning;  great is your faithfulness.

Funny, that verse doesn't sound like a lamentation, does it? I love quoting it to the kids when we are having a bad day (and by "we", I usually have to include myself as a contributor.)
